Halloween Science Spectacular

Halloween came a little early at SMLI as we hosted our annual Halloween party.  If you were one of the unfortunate few who missed it, the event was absolutely spooktacular.  A good time was had by all as children and parents visited our many rooms, each hosting a unique activity.  Slime making, Halloween crafts, and creepy animals were just some of the many activities running inside the building and of course, the hay ride and haunted woods were not to be missed.  While all these activities we exiting, it was the dippin’ dots that stole the show.  SMLI teacher and animal care specialist Mr. Owen had the privilege of instantly freezing sugary drink mixes with liquid nitrogen.  They were quite tasty as long as they didn’t stick t your tongue.  Be on the lookout for more events like the Halloween Science Spooktacular in the near future and don’t forget about our many other offerings.
